Cota Rica is located in Central America. It borders Nicaragua to the north, Panama
to the south-southeast, the Pacific Ocean t o the west and south, and the Caribbean
Sea to the east. Costa RIca is compromised of 7 consist and its capital is San
Jose.
The territory of Costa Rica is 51.200 square kilometers making Costa Rica three
times smaller then the state of Florida in the United State. But Costa Rica has
a diverse variety of birds equivalent to the variety found in North America and
Europe all together.
Costa Rica is a democratic republic whith a strong constitution and whit no army.
It is one of the most stable countries of Latin America making Costa Rica an example
for the region.
There are two seasons in Costa Rica, the dry and the rainy season.
The temperature fluctuates between 35 C (95 F) and the 15 C (60 F).
The main attractions in Costa RIca are the hundreds of kilometers of incredible
beaches on both the Eastern and Western coasts with amazing surf spots, the volcano
ranges and national parks which are a world-wide example of conservation. This is why more
than 2 million tourist visit Costa Rica every year and 171,000 of those are surfers.
Foreign investors are also highly attracted to Costa Rica because of the
benefits that the goverment provides. Costa Rica has as well a significant
floating population of foreign workers. More than one million foreigners
are living in Costa Rica today. Most of these people were tourists who became
enchanted with the Pura Vida (Pure Life) that we live in Costa Rica.
