Costa Rica is located in Central America. It borders Nicaragua to the north, Panama
to the south-southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west

and the Caribean Sea to the East. Costa Rica is comprised of 7 provinces, but for
tourist it is divided in 5 Regions: North

Pacific, Central
Pacific, South Pacific,
Caribbean Coast and all the
Inland Territories, that includes the capital city of San Jose
